She and Sarah were twins so both of their birth years should be 1938. She is buried at The Patton cemetery with a newer headstone that has no date on it. This is just south of Birmingham. There was a very nice old chapel called Patton's Chapel along a Creek named Pattons Creek. Patton Chapel Road snaked its way around and eventually N over Shades Mountain where it intersected other roads and went toward Bessemer and Jonesboro (Birmingham). The Chapel has now been replaced with a larger Church, the road is now a straight-shot and the Creek has long since been altered. As mentioned in the article, the Pattons were well known as being some of the first settlers in that part of Jefferson Co. AL.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
