A View From the Schoolhouse Window

Pictured above is a late-winter view from a classroom in the old Fulton Grammar School on South Cummings Street in Fulton.

That old window has had countless students stare out its panes. What a rich history it shares with that building, and I'm so glad it was not torn down.

Like Mona, I am so glad that building was not torn down. Oh, the memories it holds. Just the smell of the oiled floors can stir the soul. I would love to know the number of kids that passed through those doors. Jan Holley
