Pictured above is a student assembly in front of the main school building on the campus of Itawamba Agricultural High School during the winter of 1941. This building was one of the original buildings of the school and faced east towards the the town square on the hill.

Thanks, Bob, for such an interesting photograph. When I started attending classes in 1958 at Itawamba Junior College (they shared a campus with the high school), this building was one of the main classroom buildings. I remember taking British Literature with Mrs Suzie Mae Earnest(of Mantachie) in one of the upstairs classrooms. The campus has changed so much over the years --- and today is one of the best equipped and attractive college campuses in Mississippi.
