Snowball Bush Blooms

I have a large snowball bush (Viburnum opulus 'Roseum') in my yard that is now in full bloom. This morning I photographed a small section of the blooms before the rain moves in later today.

Oh, how I envy your snowball bush! I planted one on the ne corner of our home in the winter of 1963 and it provided us with many "ohs and Ahs" from passing motorists, but the drought and heat did it in about 2 years ago. I realized last spring that there was a "pup" coming up from one of the roots and to my amazement in the last week, I have a few snowballs that aren't quite as showy as you have. But I have hopes. bettye

The photo is lovely. The bush is on my list of ones to get for the yard. You see them everywhere in this area.

Thanks for the comments Bettye and Alison. The snowball bush is one of my favorites. It's not fussy at all and just does its own thing without help. Mine was rooted from a cutting off a neighbor's large shrub and today mine is over 9 feet tall.

Question, once it blooms will it bloom again within the same year? I am a new homeowner and there are two snowball bushes here. Both have already bloomed and one has lost it's blooms already. I would like to make them come back out but how?
