Yesterday afternoon the snow started out as heavy sleet and by nightfall a beautiful snow started falling in the hills of Itawamba County. Residents were greeted with a beautiful blanket of snow this morning after this rare March snow event.

Hi Bob, It snowed here also. WE didn't have any sleet. It changed from rain to big, beautiful flakes of snow about mid afternoon Friday. It really came down for about an hour or two. Then it was a very light snow until midnight Friday night. It was rare that we had snow without any sleet or ice. Martha
