Once during Itawamba County's past, country stores dotted the countryside. Every community had such a store. Many of those old stores were voting precincts and served as the community post office. Once during Itawamba County's past, country stores dotted the countryside. Every community had such a store. Many of those old stores were voting precincts and served as the community post office.
